Xulon Press has officially launched the 2011 Christian Choice Book Awards. This contest is open to all independently published authors who have self-published a Christian book. The contest was established to recognize independent Christian authors for their outstanding literary achievement.
The Christian Choice Book Awards recognizes up to 48 authors in 16 categories with certificate of achievement awards. This year there are 16 categories an author can choose from: Autobiography/Biography, Bible Study, Christian Fiction, Christian Living, Counseling/Recovery, Current Events/Politics, Devotional, End-Times, Finance, Health, Marriage, Ministry, Missions, Parenting, and Poetry.
Books are judged based on the following criteria:
Is the book well-written and readable?
Is the subject matter original?
Does the material engage the reader?
Does the book teach, inspire, or encourage the reader?
There will be 3 over- all winners who will receive the following prizes:

Xulon Press is currently accepting full-length completed Christian books that have been self-published. The contest closes at midnight on December 15, 2011
